Overall Educational Objective |
To learn to interpret and use financial information regarding the banking system, its products and bank loans. |
Course Description |
This course has been designed in collaboration with Türkiye İş Bankası A.Ş. and offers comprehensive content on financial intelligence with a practical approach together with guest speakers. At the end of the course, students will acquire basic finance, accounting and economic knowledge and will be competent in interpreting and using financial information, especially regarding banking products and bank loans. |
Course Learning Outcomes and Competences
Upon successful completion of the course, the learner is expected to be able to:
1) To be able to analyze the Turkish Banking Sector and the role of banks using basic accounting, finance and economic knowledge.
2) To understand different financing options, especially consumer and corporate loans
3) To effectively use financial information regarding banking products and alternative financing methods.
