Overall Educational Objective |
The goal of the course is to provide an advanced, state-of-the-art understanding of memory and its related processes and to deliver the skills for critically evaluating the relevant research. At the end of the course, students will be able to critically evaluate the advanced academic research in cognitive psychology while also conducting research, evaluating the findings, and writing them up in an empirical format.

Course Description |
This course includes advanced readings in cognitive psychology, with a specific focus on episodic memory. It explores the most recent advances in episodic memory and its interactions with other cognitive processes such as emotion, attention, etc. Topics include the role of memories in guiding attention, episodic memory and its interactions with other cognitive systems, and the mechanisms of memories in encoding, storing, and retrieving. |

Epizodik hafıza ve bunun duygular, dikkat gibi diğer bilişsel süreçlerle etkileşimleri üzerine en son gelişmeleri inceler.
