Overall Educational Objective These discussions as well as the up to date articles will help students to come up with new research ideas and eventually equip students with the skills to write their own research proposals.
Course Description This course aims to offer a broader understanding of negative attitudes towards outgroups in general, as well as successful interventions that have transformed deeply rooted negative attitudes. Additionally, the course will provide an overview of various intergroup conflict and polarization examples from around the world. Each class will feature discussions on the strengths and weaknesses of different interventions, with a focus on connecting the concepts and theories learned to encourage critical thinking. These discussions as well as the up to date articles will help students to come up with new research ideas and eventually equip students with the skills to write their own research proposals.
