| Overall Educational Objective | Enabling the students to gain essential knowledge about the methodology of law. This knowledge will provide them a solid basis as “working tools” for reading, understanding and interpreting law. | ||||
| Course Description | The lecture’s purpose is explain the methodology of law and enable the students to use the various methods and techniques in their future legal studies. Starting with the concept and functions of law, the structure and context of legal rules will be examined before different types and sources of law will be introduced. Beyond the method of interpreting, supplementing and correcting statutes will be discussed in detail. Finally, the practical use of the legal methods for the application of legal norms will be shown. | ||||
| Course Description in Turkish | Bu dersin amacı hukuk metodolojisinin açıklamak ve öğrencilerin gelecekteki hukuksal çalışmalarında çeşitli metod ve teknikleri ullanmasını sağlamaktır. Hukuk kavramı ve işlevleri ile başlayarak, değişik hukuk çeşitleri ve kaynaklarından önce, hukuk kurallarının yapısı ve kapsamı incelenecektir. Yorum yanında, tamamlayıcı ve düzeltici normlar ayrıntılı ele alınacaktır. Son olarak, hukuk normlarının uygulanmasında hukuksal yöntemlerin uygulamalı kullanımı gösterilecektir. |
