Overall Educational Objective | The overall objective of the course is to enable students to develop a new perspective on environmental problems by comprehending the unique characteristics and principles of environmental law. | ||||||||
Course Description | The course offers an overwiew of the environmental law focusing on the principles of the environmental law, environmental impact assessment, sectorial and integrated environmental protection, environmental damage and liability. | ||||||||
Course Description in Turkish | Derste çevre hukukunun temel ilkeleri, çevresel etki değerlendirmesi, çevresel kirliligin önlenmesi ile sektörel ve entegre çevre koruma yöntemleri ve çevresel zararlardan doğan sorumluluk konuları işlenecektir. |
Course Learning Outcomes and CompetencesUpon successful completion of the course, the learner is expected to be able to:1) Evaluates environmental problems within the framework of the basic principles of environmental law. 2) To determine the scope of environmental law in general terms 3) To interpret the legislation with the perspective of environmental law 4) To know environmental impact assessment 5) To evaluate and analyze judicial decisions on environmental law 6) To explain the principles regarding the protection of natural and cultural assets 7) To define the administration's law enforcement activities in the environmental field 8) To outline the principles of risk management in general terms 9) Evaluate issues related to liability for environmental damage |
