One of the aims of the course is to provide a critical understanding of perception of space in visual arts. Having a practise of “seeing”, students will have a sense of visual culture through contemporary examples. Through experimentation and exploration of visual semiotics, they will investigate the techniques and approaches in photography and videography related narratives. Readings, exhibition visit, screenings and guest lecturer will contribute to the course. Students are expected to create a narrative about the place they choose and present it at the end of the semester.
