| Course Description | This course investigates architecture and urbanism in the 20th century, with a special emphasis on the relationships between philosophy, theory and various forms of cultural production. |
Course Learning Outcomes and CompetencesUpon successful completion of the course, the learner is expected to be able to:1) 20. yüzyıldan günümüze kadar mimarlık ve kentsel planlamayı anlamak; 2) mimarlık ve kentsel tasarım üzerine çağdaş söylemsel üretimlerle ilişkili olarak inşa edilmiş örnekleri anlamak; 3) inşa edilmiş çevre ile onu üreten sosyal, kültürel, teknolojik ve politik bağlamlar arasındaki bağlantıları analiz etmek; 4) mimarlık ve şehircilik üzerine temel teorik metinleri analiz etmek ve yorumlamak. |
