Overall Educational Objective | To learn to understand psychology as a scientific discipline; to become familiar with the background of major areas of psychology; to learn to understand basic terminology, and to use scientific knowledge to understand and predict human behavior. | ||||
Course Description | The purpose of this course is to introduce you to major areas of psychology. The course is a review of theory and research about the basic topics in psychology: research methods, biological aspects of psychology, learning, memory, motivation, personality, and social psychology. | ||||
