| Course Description | In this course, the concept of norm will be analysed in the context of legal ethics. Ethical theories will be explained and discussed within the framework of practical legal problems. Finally, the ethical codes which are effective in Turkish legal system will be revealed and discussed. | ||||
| Course Description in Turkish | Bu ders kapsamında hukuk ve etik arasındaki ilişkinin ortaya konulmakta ve bu ilişkinin önemi vurgulanmaktadır. Bu bağlamda öncelikle hukuk ve etik kavramlarının anlamı üzerinde durulmaktadır. Daha sonra hukuk etiğine ilişkin temel tartışma konuları çeşitli hukuk etik kodları bağlamında ele alınmaktadır. |
Course Learning Outcomes and CompetencesUpon successful completion of the course, the learner is expected to be able to:1) To be able to distinguish the concepts of ethics, morality and morality, 2) To be able to identify the basic problems of legal ethics 3) To recognize the relationship between law and ethics and to understand its importance 4) Learns to make correct evaluations in law-related professions. 5) Develop an awareness of the ethical standards and professional responsibilities associated with the legal profession. |
