| Overall Educational Objective | The aim of the course is to develop the students' theoretical knowledge and practical skills on the issues currently discussed in the doctrine and practice of consumer law. | ||||
| Course Description | This course aims to address current developments in consumer law from theoretical and practical aspects. For this purpose, the first part of this course aims to overview the general principles and concepts of consumer law. Students will then be asked to prepare papers on the subjects provided, in which they will assess current developments in consumer law in the light of scholarly opinions and court decisions. |
Course Learning Outcomes and CompetencesUpon successful completion of the course, the learner is expected to be able to:1) Knows the general principles of consumer law. 2) Understands the current discussions in the doctrine of consumer law, forms and expresses his/her own views. 3) Keeps up with the judicial decisions regarding consumer law. 4) Keeps up with the comparative law regarding consumer law. |
