Overall Educational Objective To learn about the essentials about talent management with different practices in the industries by theoretic/practical exercises.
Course Description This program is designed for bachelor's degree students who are new graduate candidates. It includes specific information about talent management principles. Also, it gives some brief information about basic KPIs and ‘way of doing business’ tips covering reward &recognition, and culture – engagement. Moreover, students can find inventories for human resources practices.
Course Description in Turkish Bu program yeni mezun adayı olan lisans öğrencileri için tasarlanmıştır. Yetenek yönetimi ilkeleri hakkında özel bilgiler içerir. Ayrıca, ödül ve takdir, kültür – bağlılık alanlarını kapsayan 'iş yapma şekli' ipuçları hakkında bilgiler verir. Ayrıca, öğrenciler insan kaynakları uygulamaları için temel bilgileri bu derste bulabilirler.

Ayrıca ders içi katılım da öğretilen içeriğin anlamlandırılması açısından oldukça önemlidir. Sınıfta birbirlerinden öğrenmek için sorgulama, beyin fırtınası ve tartışma yaratılması kuvvetle bekleniyor. Sınav tarihinden itibaren üç (3) gün içerisinde https://www.cognitoforms.com/MEFUniversity/MazeretBildirimFormu bağlantısını kullanarak talebini (raporlarıyla birlikte) fakülte sekreterliğine iletmeleri gerekmektedir. Talepler fakülte kurulunda görüşülerek fakülte sekreterinin aldığı karar öğretim elemanına iletilir. Öğrencinin mazereti kabul edildikten sonra öğretim elemanı ve öğrenci birlikte yer ve zamanı belirleyeceklerdir. Akademik sahtekarlık ve intihal YÖK Disiplin Yönetmeliğine tabi olacaktır. Students are always free and encouraged to give feedback and ask questions about the course via e-mail to instructor (girgina@mef.edu.tr). Due to the course content, it is very important to understand concepts and reflect on them by active thinking and discussion. Therefore, pre-class readings of the related part of the textbook and if any other material given is essential. Also in-class participation is very important to make sense of the content taught. It is strongly expected to generate questioning, brainstorming and discussion in class to learn from each other. Make-up exams will be subject to the Excuse Regulation (link: (https://students.mef.edu.tr/tr/mazeretlerin-kabulu-ve-mazeret-sinavlarinin-yapili#gsc.tab=0). Students are required to submit a request (together with their reports) to the faculty secretary within three (3) days of the exam via this link: https://www.cognitoforms.com/MEFUniversity/MazeretBildirimFormu). The requests are discussed with the faculty board and the decision taken by the faculty secretary is sent to the instructor. Once the student’s excuse is accepted, the instructor and the student will decide together to arrange the place and time. Academic dishonesty and plagiarism will be subject to the YÖK Disciplinary Regulation.
