Overall Educational Objective | To teach the legal interest protected by crimes against the environment and the types of crimes related to this issue. | ||||
Course Description | Crimes against the environment are regulated in the second part of the Turkish Penal Code under the title of crimes against the environment. Crimes against the environment are: "Intentional pollution of the environment", "Pollution of the environment due to recklessness", "Causing noise", "Pollution caused by construction". In this regard, legal elements and characteristics of the crimes against the environment regulated in the law, legal interest protected by the crime, punishment of the crime, statute of limitations, complaint and special appearance of the crime will be examined. In addition, judicial case law on these issues will be emphasized. |
