| The MEF FADA Undergraduate Architecture Program aims to prepare its graduates to pursue careers in the architecture and design sectors as creative, responsible professionals committed to ethical values in the near future. The program envisions that within the first five years of graduation, students will be employed in architectural offices, public institutions, non-governmental organizations, or establish their own design practices as entrepreneurs. Its studio-centered education model supports the development of critical and analytical thinking, teamwork, and interdisciplinary approaches. Through the “Design & Build!” studio, students engage with real-life problems and gain opportunities to collaborate with public and local stakeholders. Istanbul’s rich urban fabric provides a unique learning environment that nourishes this process. The program not only aims for graduates to attain professional competency but also to cultivate awareness of sustainability, social contribution, and technological innovation. International exchange programs such as Erasmus and various internship opportunities encourage integration with global architectural practices. Accordingly, graduates are expected to take on active roles in the field of architecture as ethical, entrepreneurial, critically minded, lifelong learners with leadership qualities. |
