| Course Description |
This course provides a comprehensive introduction to fundamental aspects of Computer networks. Topics to be covered include data communication concepts, layered network models (OSI reference model, TCP/IP networking architecture), different switching techniques, network congestion, network topologies, IP and Mac addressing, various types of networks (LAN, MAN, WAN and Wireless networks) and the protocols. |
Course Learning Outcomes and Competences
Upon successful completion of the course, the learner is expected to be able to:
1) Temel bilgisayar ağ teknolojilerini tanımlayın ve veri iletişim sistemlerini açıklar
2) OSI and TCP/IP katmanlarını sıralar
