Overall Educational Objective Learning the practical aspects of commercial law that are relevant in the legal career and their common applications
Course Description It is beyond dispute that the knowledge of a newly graduated law student is insufficient for a career as lawyer, yet the current system allows newly graduate law students to become lawyer within one year. This obsolescent practice causes incompetent and unready lawyers, especially in the matter of commercial law. This course tends to prepare its participants to acknowledge common practices that they will face in their professional life.

Course Learning Outcomes and Competences

Upon successful completion of the course, the learner is expected to be able to:
1) Develops mastery over the relationships between the general principles of commercial law and its sub-disciplines.
2) Understands legal practices that are inadequately covered in classes and academic resources.
3) Applies theoretical knowledge in practice.

7) Analyzes economic data using econometric and statistical methods and presents the results using appropriate software programs
8) Conducts and reports on all stages of economic analysis in accordance with scientific and ethical principles
9) Uses written and spoken English (at least CEFR B2 level) in scientific knowledge sharing
10) Integrates social responsibility into economic decision-making processes
11) Develops the learning competencies necessary for further studies with a high degree of autonomy
