Course Description |
Today, human resources are considered the most important resource for achieving sustainable competitive advantage. This course, which will focus on increasing employee motivation and effective leadership, which are of great importance for the successful performance of all institutions, will help participants develop their own leadership styles and thus help them be more successful in their careers. During the course, the main traditional and contemporary leadership and motivation theories will be introduced to the participants along with practical examples. Other topics to be covered include key managerial concepts, such as effective communication, group dynamics, power, organizational design and development, and organizational culture. |

Günümüzdeki sürdürülebilir rekabet avantajı elde edilmesi için en önemli kaynağın insan kaynağı kabul edilmektedir. Tüm kurumların başarılı bir performans sergilemesi açısından büyük öneme sahip olan çalışan motivasyonunu arttırma ve etkin liderlik konularına odaklanacak olan bu ders, katılımcıların kendi liderlik tarzlarını geliştirmelerine ve bu şekilde kariyerlerinde daha başarılı olabilmelerine yönelik olarak tasarlanmıştır. Ders boyunca başlıca geleneksel ve çağdaş liderlik ve motivasyon teorileri, pratik örnekleri ile birlikte katılımcılara tanıtılacaktır. İşlenecek diğer konular arasında etkili iletişim, grup dinamikleri, güç, örgütsel tasarım ve geliştirme ve örgüt kültürü gibi diğer temel yönetsel kavramlar yer almaktadır. |

Upon successful completion of the course, the learner is expected to be able to:
1) Understand the leadership skills required to effectively manage individuals, teams and organizations
2) Gain awareness of how employee motivation and job satisfaction in the workplace can be increased by using different methods
3) gaining theoretical and practical knowledge to develop a personal leadership style
4) distinguishing between various situational factors, such as culture, to determine the right leadership approach
5) Understand the role of communication in effective leadership and management
