Health Unit

Medico Social Services was established to meet the health-related needs of students and all employees within MEF University and has been providing services since the establishment of MEF University with the aim of providing Preventive Health Services based on the Ministry of Health's Health Services Basic Law No. 3359 dated 7/5/1987.

The primary purpose of Medico Social Services is to work to protect the health of both students and employees within the school. However, in cases of accidents, illnesses and injuries that cannot be avoided, it provides first aid services to intervene in cases of accidents, illnesses and injuries that cannot be avoided, provides appropriate treatment and care in case of illnesses, and mediates in the transfer to higher treatment and care institutions in cases of illnesses and injuries that require further research and examination.

In addition to preventive health services within the framework of Mediko Social Services, in accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety Law No. 6331 dated 20/06/2012, an occupational safety specialist and an occupational physician provide services to protect the occupational health and safety of employees in accordance with the duration and form of service deemed appropriate by the law.

To get help from Medico Social Services, you can apply to the Health Unit located on the 1st floor of MEF University Block C. Our nurse is on duty every weekday between 09:00-16:00.

Psychological Support Center

Individual psychological counseling is a process that supports individuals' personal, social, academic and professional development. Throughout the process, it is aimed to identify the problems that individuals face in the specified areas, to produce solutions to these problems and to actively try to apply these solutions in daily life.

MEF PDM provides individual counseling sessions, group counseling sessions, workshops, seminars, and bulletins to the people within the university, both face-to-face and online, taking into account the needs of the university. All services provided at MEF PDM are carried out in line with ethical principles and the principle of confidentiality.

What is Individual Counseling?

In individual counseling services, it is expected that the individual will get to know himself/herself better and increase his/her awareness about himself/herself and improve the quality of life in his/her daily life.

Where to go in case of emergency?

The MEF PDM unit provides both face-to-face and online services. Appointments are prioritized according to the order of application. If you think you are facing an emergency situation, you can send an e-mail to MEF PDM and our experts working in the unit. MEF PDM unit is open during the day (08:00-16:00). In case of a crisis that requires an immediate response, it is recommended that you apply to the nearest health institution, taking into account the urgency of the situation.
