Overall Educational Objective | To examine and discuss the approach of the ECHR on the freedom of political parties | ||||
Course Description | The main aim of the course is to give students basic knowledge on the jurisprudence of the ECHR concerning political parties. | ||||
Course Description in Turkish | Dersin amacı, İHAM’ın siyasal parti özgürlüğü konusunda geliştirdiği temel ilkeler ve siyasal partilerin kapatılması sorunu konusundaki içtihatları ile ilgili temel bilgileri vermektir. |
Course Learning Outcomes and CompetencesUpon successful completion of the course, the learner is expected to be able to:1) Knows the case law of the European Court of Human Rights on political parties. 2) Understands the role and function of political parties in a democratic system. 3) Discusses the European standard on the principles to be followed by political parties and the prohibition of political parties. |
