Overall Educational Objective | With this course, students will learn the basic principles of Children Rights Law, specifically the national and international regulations on children's rights, the ways of protection of children in Private Law, as well as custody, guardianship and paternity relations with the children. | ||||
Course Description | The course especially covers the basic principles of Child Law, children’s rights, protection of children under public and private laws, guardianship, tutorship and paternity relations. | ||||
Course Description in Turkish | Ders kapsamında özellikle çocuk hukukunun temel ilkeleri, çocuk hakları, özel hukuk ve kamu hukukunda çocuğun korunması, velayet, vesayet ve soybağı ilişkileri incelenecektir. |
Course Learning Outcomes and CompetencesUpon successful completion of the course, the learner is expected to be able to:1) Upon successful completion of the course, the student, 1. Knows the basic concepts of child law. 2) Upon successful completion of the course, the student, 2. Reveals and discusses the content of legal rules on custody, guardianship and paternity, and solves related problems. 3) Upon successful completion of the course, the student, 3. Identifies and applies the legal problems related to the protection of children in private law and public law and the legal rules to be applied to them. 4) Upon successful completion of the course, the student, 4. Evaluates and criticizes the consequences of the application of the rules of Children Rights Law. 5) Upon successful completion of the course, the student, 5. Identifies the differences between the Turkish Civil Code and international regulations. |
