Overall Educational Objective In this course, students learn carriage contracts, the obligations and rights of the carrier, the carrier and the cargo, carriage of goods contracts by air, by sea, by road and by rail, the differences between cargo and passenger carriage contracts, international conventions in the field of carriage contracts.
Course Description Carriage of goods, carriage contract, passenger carriage, international conventions about carriage, types of carriage, rights and responsibilities of the parties

Course Learning Outcomes and Competences

Upon successful completion of the course, the learner is expected to be able to:
1) Understands how to draft carriage contracts and the issues to be considered
2) Knows the parties to the carriage contracts, those related to the contract and the rights and obligations of all these persons
3) Understands that transport plays an important role in the international arena and therefore there are many international conventions and many transport models and types
4) Can solve the legal problems regarding transport in light of domestic law and international regulations
