Overall Educational Objective | To gain knowledge and discuss the legal disputes between health personnel and patients, resolutions, doctrine and jurisprudential developments. | ||||
Course Description | This course covers the legal nature of the legal relationship between healthcare personnel and patients, applicable legislation, reasons of the disputes, physician-patient relationship in private medical practices. | ||||
Course Description in Turkish | Bu ders, sağlık personelleri ile hasta arasındaki hukuki ilişkinin hukuki niteliği, uygulanacak mevzuat, uyuşmazlık sebepleri, özel tıbbi uygulamalarda hekim-hasta ilişkisi konularını içermektedir. |
Course Learning Outcomes and CompetencesUpon successful completion of the course, the learner is expected to be able to:1) Determines the private law liability of the physician, discusses the conditions 2) Evaluates the legal relationship between the physician and the patient. 3) Analyses international treaties and decisions of the Court of Cassation in the field of health. 4) Discusses civil liability in the field of health separately in terms of private and public hospitals. |
