Course Description |
Aim, qualifications and types of punishment, extinction of penal relation, content of the statute of limitations and raison d’être of this institution, crimes which do not have statutes of limitations and their features, duration for statute of limitations, beginning of statute of limitations and reasons of its suspension and severance, limitation periods pertaining to penalties, its beginning, suspension and severance, consequences of statute of limitations and limitations pertaining to penalties. |

Cezanın amacı, nitelikleri ve türleri, ceza ilişkisinin ortadan kalkması, zamanaşımı kurumunun anlamı ve bu kurumun kabul edilmesinin gerekçeleri, zamanaşımına uğramayan suçların özellikleri, dava zamanaşımı süreleri, dava zamanaşımının başlaması ve durma ile kesilme nedenleri, ceza zamanaşımı ve süreleri, ceza zamanaşımının başlaması, durması ve kesilmesi durumları, dava ve ceza zamanaşımının sonuçları. |

Upon successful completion of the course, the learner is expected to be able to:
1) Understanding the establishment and termination of a penal relationship
2) Understanding the reasons for the adoption of the statute of limitations as a grounds for the elimination of the criminal relationship
3) Learning the grounds for the commencement, suspension and severence of the statute of limitations
4) Grasping the consequences of the statute of limitations
