In this course, which is compulsory only for students who are not graduates of law faculty, students will receive information in the nature of scientific preparation. |
Course Description |
In this course, information will be given on the following subjects with examples from legal regulations, judicial decisions and doctrine: "Sources of information and citation procedures of law, basic concepts of law, divisions of law, judicial organisation, sources of law and hierarchy of norms, application of law, principles and methods of interpretation of legal rules, sanction of legal rules, concept of right, concepts of justice and equity, function of judicial organisation." |

Bu derste kanuni düzenlemelerden, yargı kararlarından ve doktrinden örneklerle takip eden konularda bilgi verilecektir: “Hukukun bilgi kaynakları ve atıf usulleri, hukukla ilgili temel kavramlar, hukukun kısımları, yargı örgütü, hukukun kaynakları ve normlar hiyerarşisi, hukukun uygulanması, hukuk kurallarına ilişkin yorum ilke ve yöntemleri, hukuk kurallarının yaptırımı, hak kavramı, adalet ve hakkaniyet kavramları, yargı örgütünün fonksiyonu.” |
Course Learning Outcomes and Competences
Upon successful completion of the course, the learner is expected to be able to:
1) Learn about sources of legal information and how to read legal rules.
2) Understand the basic concepts of law.
3) Becomes familiar with the sources of law and the concept of "hierarchy of norms".
4) Know the sections of Turkish law and basic information about comparative law.
5) Knows the basic information about the judiciary, the duties of the judge and the functions of the judicial organisation.
6) Understand the relationship and differences between the concepts of right, law, justice and equity.
