Course Description |
In today's world, where the ways to gain competitive advantage are changing rapidly and the time to retain competitive advantage is getting shorter, it is of great importance for companies to be able to lead digital transformation and innovation management by adapting to the speed of change of technological information. In this context, as a start, basic information about digital transformation and innovation management will be given in the course. Subsequently, the historical development of digital transformation and innovation management, technological developments and social changes that triggered the emergence of these concepts will be focused on. The content of the course will also include developing technologies and trends, as well as design thinking, one of the most current and innovative problem-solving techniques, and applications of digital transformation and innovation management in different sectors. The effects of digital transformation and innovation management on sustainability and how managers can lead in digital transformation and innovation management in businesses are among the topics that will be covered throughout the semester. |

Rekabet avantajı elde etme yollarının hızla değiştiği ve rekabet avantajını elde tutma süresinin giderek kısaldığı günümüz dünyasında, şirketlerin teknolojik bilginin değişim hızıyla uyumlanarak dijital dönüşüm ve inovasyon yönetimi konularına liderlik edebilmeleri büyük önem taşımaktadır. Bu bağlamda derste öncelikle dijital dönüşüm ve inovasyon yönetimi hakkında temel bilgiler verilecektir. Akabinde, dijital dönüşüm ve inovasyon yönetiminin tarihsel gelişimi, bu kavramların çıkışını tetikleyen teknolojik gelişmeler ve toplumsal değişimlere odaklanılacaktır. Dersin içeriğinde gelişen teknolojiler ve trendler ile birlikte, en güncel ve inovatif problem çözme tekniklerden biri olan tasarım düşüncesi ve dijital dönüşüm ve inovasyon yönetiminin farklı sektörlerdeki uygulamaları da yer alacaktır. Dijital dönüşüm ve inovasyon yönetiminin sürdürülebilirlik üzerindeki etkileri ve işletmelerde dijital dönüşüm ve inovasyon yönetimi konularında yöneticilerin nasıl liderlik yapabilecekleri konuları da dönem boyunca işlenecek konular arasındadır. |
