Course Description |
This is the second part of a basic statistics course for economics and business administration majors. Upon successful completion of the course, the participants are expected to be able to understand the basic concepts of sampling distributions, estimation, confidence intervals, and hypothesis testing (type I and II errors), explain the differences among various statistical techniques and identify an appropriate technique for a given set of variable and research questions; design, solve and interpret the results of hypothesis tests (t-test, z-test, chi-square tests) related to the population mean, population proportion and population differences. |
Course Description in Turkish |
