Students will have general knowledge about Ottoman constitutional developments

Course Description

The following topics will be covered during the course: Constitutional Developments, Charter of Alliance, Tanzimat Period, The 1876 Constitution, The Period of Committee of Union, and Progression.

Upon successful completion of the course, the learner is expected to be able to:
1) To comprehend Ottoman constitutional developments in depth
2) To recognize the importance and value of developments
3) To understand the background of constitutional movements in the Ottoman period
4) To evaluate constitutional developments more consciously in the next period
