| Overall Educational Objective | The student who takes this course acquires general information about the basic concepts and application areas of Sports Law and knows the legislation of sports law. | ||||
| Course Description | Sport Law is a new and composite field of law (law of obligations, penal and administrative law), differing from classical ones. At this regard, under the scope of this course, the said different quality of sport law is emphasized and potential solutions conflicts arising therefrom are especially and primarily pursued. The course mainly covers the subjects of institutional background of sport law, sport-penal law, sport-labour law, sport-discipline law, and sport law arbitration. | ||||
| Course Description in Turkish | Spor Hukuku, klasik hukuk dallarından farklı olarak birden fazla (Borçlar-İdare-Ceza) alana aynı anda dayanan yeni ve karma bir hukuk dalıdır. Bu bağlamda ders kapsamda spor hukukunun anılan farklı yapısı vurgulanarak öğrencilere aktarımda bulunulması, spor hukuku bağlamında çıkabilecek uyuşmazlıklara potansiyel çözüm önerileri getirilmesi özellikle ve öncelikli olarak gözetilmektedir. Dersin içeriği spor hukukunun kurumsal yapılanması, spor-ceza, spor-iş, spor-disiplin hukuku, spor tahkimi gibi konulardan oluşmaktadır. |
Course Learning Outcomes and CompetencesUpon successful completion of the course, the learner is expected to be able to:1) Upon successful completion of the course, students are expected to 1.Know and evaluate the structure and institutions of sports law at national and international level. 2) Upon successful completion of the course, students are expected to 2.Understand and analyze the basic principles of Sports Criminal Law. 3) Upon successful completion of the course, students are expected to 3.Understand and analyze the basic principles of Sports Labor Law. 4) Upon successful completion of the course, students are expected to 4.Understand and analyze Sports Disciplinary Law. 5) Upon successful completion of the course, students are expected to 5.Gain knowledge about sports arbitration. |
