Overall Educational Objective To learn land registry system and cadastre application system
Course Description In this course, following subjects will be evaluated: Principals of the cadastre, primary and secondary elements of the land registry, creation of the land registry, rules governing the land registry, transactions subject to official form and the exceptions, contractual and non-contructional transactions, mortgage transactions, legal functions of the old title deeds and record books, responsibility of the State for keeping the land registry, real estates which are not subject to be registred to the land registry, recording the reservation and declaration into the land registry.
Course Description in Turkish Bu derste şu konular ele alınacaktır: Kadastro uygulamasının esasları, tapu sicilinin ana ve yardımcı unsurları, sicilin oluşturulması, tapu siciline hakim temel ilkeleri, resmi şekle tabi tapu işlemleri ve istisnaları, akitli işlemler, akitsiz işlemler, rehin işlemleri, eski tapu kayıtları ve zabıt defterinin hükmü, tapu sicilinin tutulmasından Devletin sorumluluğu, tapu siciline kaydedilmeyecek taşınmazlar, tapu kütüğüne şerhlerin ve beyanların işlenmesi.

Upon successful completion of the course, the learner is expected to be able to:
1) Upon successful completion of the course, the following is expected from the student taking the course: 1. Understands the principles of cadastral application and the creation of the land registry and the elements of the land registry and the basic principles that apply to the land registry,
2) Upon successful completion of the course, the following is expected from the student taking the course: 2. To learn the process of transformation of cadastral islands and parcels formed by cadastral cadastre into zoning islands and parcels as a result of possible zoning application,
3) Upon successful completion of the course, the following is expected from the student taking the course: 3. Understands contracts for the transfer of immovable property, notaries' issuance of immovable sale contracts and their registration in the land registry,
4) Upon successful completion of the course, the following is expected from the student taking the course: 4. Gains the ability to read land registry.
