Overall Educational Objective To have a deeper understanding of the importance of intrapreneurship for institutions, to be able to recognize opportunities with commercial potential and to develop the skills to realize these opportunities.
Course Description This course aims to introduce the concept of intrapreneurship to graduate students and to provide them with knowledge and skills on how to apply entrepreneurial thinking within an existing organization. During the course, students will understand the definition, characteristics, and benefits of intrapreneurship, as well as experience the process of developing and implementing intrapreneurial projects by practice.
Course Description in Turkish Bu ders, yüksek lisans öğrencilerine iç girişimcilik kavramını tanıtmayı ve onlara mevcut bir organizasyonda girişimci düşünceyi nasıl uygulayabilecekleri konusunda bilgi ve beceri kazandırmayı amaçlamaktadır. Ders boyunca öğrenciler iç girişimciliğin tanımını, özelliklerini ve faydalarını tanıyacak ve ayrıca iç girişimcilik projelerini geliştirme ve uygulama sürecini uygulamalı olarak deneyimleyebilecektir.

Upon successful completion of the course, the learner is expected to be able to:
1) Understand design thinking and innovation processes
2) Identify the components that include innovation management
3) To identify the factors necessary to achieve success in innovation in internal company environments
4) Distinguishing different forms of protection for intellectual property
5) Exploring different ways to manage open innovation, such as alliances and partnerships
6) Anticipating a commercial opportunity before competitors and using the fastest action mechanisms within the company

Teaching MethodsThis course was developed from an understanding of active and collaborative learning. The active learning perspective is based on a collaborative, inquiry-based, student-centered teaching approach in which students actively engage with existing knowledge. The course will cover basic terminology and theoretical structure with relevant practical implications. The methods to be used are generally introducing the concepts of intrapreneurship, innovation management and design thinking from different angles and using various materials, case studies, team work for the development of creative projects and in-class discussions.
