Overall Educational Objective To understand the historical and modern perspectives on decision making and be able to analyze the interplay between AI technologies and managerial decision-making processes.
Course Description This course delves into the evolution of managerial decision-making from its origins in ancient philosophy to its modern interpretations in the age of artificial intelligence (AI). Leveraging insights from management theory, cognitive psychology, behavioral economics, and neuroscience, students will gain a comprehensive understanding of decision-making processes.
Course Description in Turkish Bu ders, antik felsefede kökleri bulunan yönetimsel karar almanın evrimini, yapay zeka çağında modern yorumlarına kadar ele almaktadır. Yönetim teorisi, bilişsel psikoloji, davranışsal ekonomi ve nörobilimden elde edilen içgörülerle öğrenciler karar verme süreçleri hakkında kapsamlı bir anlayış kazanacaklardır.

Upon successful completion of the course, the learner is expected to be able to:
1) discuss the historical context and evolution of decision-making theories;
2) analyze the cognitive processes underlying managerial decisions;
3) evaluate the role and impact of AI technologies on modern managerial practices;
4) examine ethical and societal considerations in AI-driven decision-making;
5) synthesize knowledge from various domains to predict future trends in AI-augmented decision-making.
