Overall Educational Objective The transformation of language into words, which is the main field of study of a lawyer. In this sense, to ensure that every lawyer is aware of his or her rhetorical skills, understands their importance and internalises them.
Course Description Rhetoric and eloquence, which have been the basis of legal education for thousands of years, have taken on a very different ground with the knowledge accumulated by linguistics, semiotics and philosophy of language, especially in the last two centuries. In recent years, developments in logic and fuzzy logic have led to the emergence of artificial intelligence. All these developments will be examined and analyzed under the title of contemporary rhetoric.
Course Description in Turkish Binlerce yıllık hukuk eğitiminde esas olmuş retorik ve belagat, özellikle son iki yüzyıldır dilbilim, göstergebilim ve dil felsefesinin oluşturduğu bilgi birikimiyle çok farklı bir zemine oturdu.
