Overall Educational Objective | To learn the general principles and institutions of Constitutional Law comparatively. | ||||
Course Description | This course aims to provide students basic knowledge on general principles and basic concepts and institutions of Constitutional Law. In the context of the course, primary and derived constituent powers, types of states, elections, political parties and governmental systems are comparatively examined and discussed. | ||||
Course Description in Turkish | Dersin amacı öğrencilere Anayasa Hukukunun genel esasları, temel kavramları ve kurumları ile ilgili temel bilgiler vermektir. Ders kapsamında, asli-tali kurucu iktidar, devlet biçimleri, seçimler, siyasi partiler ve hükümet sistemleri karşılaştırmalı olarak incelenmekte ve tartışılmaktadır. |
Course Learning Outcomes and CompetencesUpon successful completion of the course, the learner is expected to be able to:1) Understands the hierarchy and meaning of basic norms and rules. 2) Compares and evaluates state forms. 3) Establishes the necessary relationship between political power, democracy, elections and political parties and interprets their effects on the political system. 4) Critically compares the differences and consequences between different systems of government. |
