Overall Educational Objective | Students will learn the general principles of Turkish constitutional law, constitutional institutions and the system of fundamental rights and freedoms. | ||||
Course Description | This course aims to provide students with extended knowledge on Ottoman-Turkish Constitutional developments, secularism, social state, rule of law, equality, rights and freedom system, legislative power, executive power, judicial power and constitutional jurisdiction. | ||||
Course Description in Turkish | Dersin amacı öğrencilere Osmanlı-Türk anayasal gelişmeleri, laiklik, sosyal devlet, hukuk devleti, eşitlik, hak ve özgürlükler sistemi, yasama erki, yürütme erki, yargı erki ve anayasa yargısı konularında kapsamlı bilgi sunmaktır. |
Course Learning Outcomes and CompetencesUpon successful completion of the course, the learner is expected to be able to:1) Compares the process of making Turkish constitutions. 2) Comprehends the essential qualities of the state in detail. 3) Gives a comparative interpretation of the system of fundamental rights and freedoms and of the problems related to this area. 4) Evaluates the functions and operation of the legislative, the executive, and the constitutional judiciary. |
