Overall Educational Objective | To be able to apply the rules of effective and beautiful speech in the legal profession. To gain the ability to express oneself. To learn and apply the rules of correct use of Turkish. To develop the skills of oral communication, improvised speech and mutual debate. | ||||||
Course Description | The basic method of effective and beautiful speech: Emphasized speech. Emphasis types (Sentence emphasis, word emphasis) Basic rules of emphasized speech and spoken language. Studies on effectiveness in speech. The use of emotions in effective and beautiful speech, intonation. Common mistakes in daily speech. Oral communication and body language (Preparing and presenting a defense speech on a subject) Oral communication and body language practices with debate studies. | ||||||
Course Description in Turkish | Etkili ve Güzel Konuşmanın temel yöntemi: Vurgulu konuşma. Vurgu türleri (Cümle vurgusu, sözcük vurgusu) Vurgulu konuşma ve konuşma dilinin temel kuralları. Konuşmada etkileyicilik üzerine çalışmalar. Etkili ve Güzel Konuşmada duyguların kullanımı, tonlama. Günlük konuşmada sık yapılan hatalar. Sözlü iletişim ve beden dili (Bir konu üzerine savunma konuşması hazırlamak ve sunmak) Münazara çalışmalarıyla sözlü iletişim ve beden dili uygulamaları. |
Course Learning Outcomes and CompetencesUpon successful completion of the course, the learner is expected to be able to:1) Gains for the general education objectives of the course. 2) Knowledge of the correct and effective use of Turkish. 3) Effective speech in oral communication, effective use of voice and development of expression ability. 4) Developing the ability to improvise on any subject. 5) Reinforcement of defence skills. 6) Self-expression, the development of the ability to read any text by doing justice to it. 7) To use a fluent and understandable language in the performance of his/her profession. |
