Overall Educational Objective To define forensic medicine expertise, to list the basic working areas, to explain the legal procedure of expertise practices
Course Description In the context of the course, Forensic expert, Expert witnessing at medical malpractice cases, Expert witnessing at child abuse violence to women cases, Expert witnessing at sexual vıolence cases, Expert witnessing at forensic psychiatry cases, Expert witnessing at death cases, Expert witnessing at wounding cases, Expert witnessing at asphysia cases, Expert witnessing at accıdents, Expert witnessing at documents will be examined

Course Learning Outcomes and Competences

Upon successful completion of the course, the learner is expected to be able to:
1) To define Forensic Medicine Expertise practices
2) To interpret forensic expert witness applications in medical malpractice
3) to define forensic medicine expertise in cases of child abuse and violence against women
4) To define forensic medicine expertise in sexual offences
5) To define forensic medical expertise in forensic psychiatric cases
6) To express forensic expertise practices in death cases
7) To interpret forensic expertise practices in injury cases
8) To interpret forensic expertise practices in asphyxia cases
9) To interpret forensic expert witness applications in accidents
