Overall Educational Objective Students will learn academic research and writing methods.
Course Description Students will learn how to define a research question, identify various sources of information, conduct research and literature review. They will also develop a solid understanding of research ethics and integrity as well as citation and referencing rules and principles.

Upon successful completion of the course, the learner is expected to be able to:
1) Learns to identify a topic for an academic research and to conduct a resource search.
2) Can create a plan appropriate to the nature of the subject and the scope of the work written.
3) Apply the formal rules of academic writing.
4) Knows and applies the rules of citation.
