Overall Educational Objective The aim of this course is to prepare the student for a methodological study with a bibliography on a certain subject and to share the student's work with other students with a presentation.
Course Description It is ensured that the student chooses the topic to work on and present according to the methodology. The student learns the methods of researching and citing sources, the rules of form to be followed in scientific writing and the style of writing a dissertation in the Dissertation Writing Guide. Finally, the student prepares and presents his/her homework on the chosen topic.
Course Description in Turkish Öğrencinin yöntem bilime göre üzerinde çalışıp sunum yapacağı konuyu seçmesi sağlanır. Öğrenci kaynak araştırması ve atıf yöntemlerini, bilimsel yazılarda uyması gereken şekil kurallarını ve tez yazım kılavuzundaki tez yazım şeklini öğrenir. Sonunda da seçilen konudaki ödevini hazırlar ve sunar.

Upon successful completion of the course, the learner is expected to be able to:
1) To be able to choose a topic for a scientific study and to learn how to do the necessary research on this topic
2) To be able to internalise the rules of form and citation methods that must be followed for scientific studies.
