Overall Educational Objective To learn how to design and implement an Electrical and Electronics Engineering project.
Course Description This course provides a design experience in an Electrical and Electronics engineering problem. The following topics are covered: sensors actuators and interfaces, simple RF transceivers, microcontrollers, fundamentals of design, design tools, simulation tools, simulations and applications with real data, design experience through a team project with a final report and presentation.
Course Description in Turkish Bu derste, bir Elektrik-Elektronik mühendisliği probleminde tasarım tecrübesi kazandırılmaktadır. Aşağıdaki konular kapsanmaktadır: sensör aktüatörleri ve arayüzler, basit RF alıcı-verici, mikro denetleyiciler, tasarımın temelleri, tasarım araçları, benzetim araçları, gerçek veri ile benzetimler ve uygulamalar, bir final raporu ve sunum ile tamamlanan takım projesi ile tasarım deneyimi.

Upon successful completion of the course, the learner is expected to be able to:
1) identify necessary technical knowledge to design and solve electrical engineering problems;
2) show the ability to develop engineering design skills using computers and laboratory equipment;
3) construct and test a design using necessary hardware and software tools;
4) demonstrate an engineering design with technical reports and presentation;
5) complete an engineering design project as part of a team;
6) use appropriate learning strategies in completing an engineering design project.

9) Recognition, understanding, and respect for the complexity of sociocultural and international diversity.

11) Ability to formulate critical hypotheses based on psychological theory and literature, and design studies to test those hypotheses.
12) Ability to acquire knowledge independently, and to plan one’s own learning.
