All kinds of educational activities to be carried out in the Elementary Mathematics Education Program are organized according to the "constructivism" theory explaining the nature of learning and the principle of "learning by doing and experiencing". In order to ensure learning not only by memorization but also by understanding, the learning process is based on both theoretical knowledge and authentic experiences. In addition to providing teaching internships at schools, it is aimed to provide prospective teachers with the ability to perceive and engage with the profession both as a practitioner and academically by taking part in research projects.
