Overall Educational Objective | To gain a broad overview of the management, marketing and organization of an interior design project from scratch to the realization. | ||||
Course Description | The course focuses on interior designers’ potential professional manager roles and seeks to develop awareness in the processes of practice in interior design. The course introduces the phases and milestones of decision-making (such as selection of materials according to space, codes and standards, according to conceptual design and client requirements etc.), managing part holders such as vendors and engineers, preparing targeted representation and finalizing the project. How to manage project related documentation and data to create a portfolio for marketing purposes and build a business image to become a brand and expand a business will further be discussed. | ||||
Course Description in Turkish | Ders, iç mimarların potansiyel profesyonel yönetici rollerine odaklanır ve iç mimarlıkta uygulama süreçlerinde farkındalık geliştirmeyi amaçlar. Ders, mekân, kod ve standartlara göre malzeme seçimi, kavramsal tasarım ve müşteri gereksinimlerine göre karar verme aşamalarını ve kilometre taşlarını satıcılar ve mühendisler gibi paydaşları yönetme, hedeflenen temsili projeyi hazırlama ve sonuçlandırma aşamalarını tanıtır. Ders kapsamında pazarlama amaçlı portföy ve marka oluşturmak ve iş hacmini genişletmek için projeyle ilgili dokümantasyon ve verilerin nasıl yönetileceği tartışılacaktır. |
