| Overall Educational Objective | To gain an overview of basic research methods and applications in the field of psychology; to become competent in conceptualizing research designs for different research questions and analyzing data in SPPS; to learn to think critically on research results they read later on. | |||||
| Course Description | This course is planned as a mandatory course to introduce different methods of psychological research to undergraduate students. In that respect, course topics cover fundamental issues in the research process in behavioral and social sciences from question generation to presenting research outcome. The major focus of the course content is designing research and analyzing data using inferential statistics. | |||||
| Course Description in Turkish | Bu ders lisans öğrencilerine psikolojik araştırmalarda kullanılan farklı yöntemleri tanıtmak amacıyla zorunlu ders olarak planlanmıştır. Bu bağlamda, ders konuları sosyal bilimlerdeki araştırma sürecinin soru hazırlamaktan araştırma sonuçlarını sunmaya kadar farklı temel aşamalarını kapsamaktadır. Ders içeriğinin ana odak noktası araştırma tasarlama ve veri analizidir. |
