Overall Educational Objective To learn the primary psychological disorders as they relate to adults and to become familiar with diagnostic criteria(DSM), etiologies and treatment options of psychological disorders.
Course Description This course is designed to introduce the student with the mental disorders seen in clinical practice in adult level. The emphasis of the course is placed on the diagnostic criteria, etiology, evidence-based treatments and psychopharmacology. The case examples will be illustrated and discussed during the class hours to manifest each of the mental disorders.
Course Description in Turkish Bu ders, öğrencilere yetişkinlik döneminde görülen ruh sağlığı problemlerini tanıtmayı amaçlar. Ders, genel olarak psikopatolojik bozuklukların ayırıcı kriterleri, kökenleri, araştırmalara saptanmış tedavi yolları ve psikofarmakoloji üzerine yoğunlaşmıştır. Derslerde vaka paylaşımları üzerinden tartışmalar yoluyla her bir psikolojik rahatsızlık incelenmektedir.
