Overall Educational Objective Sanat terapisi dersi öğrencilerin sanat terapisiyle tanışmalarını hedefliyor. Öğrenciler ders boyunca farkli sanat terapisi teknikleriyle ve teorileriyle tanisacaklar ve bir takim uygulamalar yapacaklar. Sanat terapisi uzerine dusunmeye ve kendi kişisel farkındalıklarını ve büyümelerini destekleyen sanat çalişmaları yapma fırsatları olacak. Etik sanat terapisi pratiği konusunda bilgilenecekler ve bu yolda nasıl ilerleyebileceklerini öğrenecekler.
Course Description The course aims to familiarize students with art therapy. Students will be introduced to different techniques, approaches and applications of art therapy. The course aims to teach them ethical practice and create for them a space for personal growth and awareness. Throughout the course there will be opportunities to think about, experience and implement art therapy.

Sanat terapisi uzerine dusunmeye ve kendi kişisel farkındalıklarını ve büyümelerini destekleyen sanat çalişmaları yapma fırsatları olacak. Etik sanat terapisi pratiği konusunda bilgilenecekler ve bu yolda nasıl ilerleyebileceklerini öğrenecekler.

Course Learning Outcomes and Competences

Upon successful completion of the course, the learner is expected to be able to:
1) Sanat terapisi temel kavramlarını anlamak.
2) Yaratıcılığın nasıl işlediğini anlamak.
3) Sağaltım belgeleri oluşturmak.
4) Kişisel büyümeyi kolaylaştırmak için temel yaratıcılık ve sanat etkinliklerini uygulamak.
5) Sanat malzemelerinin doğasını anlamak ve belirli malzemelerin sonuç üzerindeki etkisini bilmek.
6) Sanat çalışmalarına yanıt vermek.

6) Mesleki etik standartların içselleştirilmesi ve yayılması.
7) Psikoloji ve diğer sosyal bilimler alanlarında bilgi edinme amacıyla bilgi teknolojileri, bilgisayar ve diğer teknolojileri kullanma konusunda yetkinlik gösterme.
8) Psikoloji bilimi bilgisini Türkçe ve en azından CEFR B2 düzeyinde İngilizce olmak üzere çeşitli formatlarda etkili bir şekilde iletme becerisi.
9) Sosyokültürel ve uluslararası çeşitliliğin karmaşıklığını tanıma, anlama ve buna saygı gösterme.
10) Yaşam boyu öğrenme, araştırma ve kendini geliştirme ihtiyacını tanıma ve bu doğrultuda beceriler geliştirme.
11) Psikolojik teori ve literatüre dayanarak eleştirel hipotezler oluşturma ve bu hipotezleri test etmek için çalışmalar tasarlama becerisi.

After 15 minutes, you will not be accepted in the classroom. *Exams: You are responsible for all the materials discussed in the class together with the assigned chapters from the book. You are responsible for all the materials in the chapters covered in class even if they were not mentioned in the class. *Please submit all your written assignments as hard copy unless it is asked in soft copy. *As a matter of courtesy to your classmates and the instructor, please turn off your mobile phones, pads and any electronic devices that make noise. *You are not allowed to record classes *You may drink but not eat in the classroom. *Ethic problems (cheating, plagiarism…etc) will not be tolerated in this course. *It is your responsibility to follow the requirements and schedule of assignments. I will explain them in class but not respond to emails about content and schedule that I explained in class. *I will go over my email policy in the first class, too. *This class also aims to develop the skills of empathy and non-judgmentalism. It is important that we are aware of the way we approach each other. Insulting each other is not acceptable. We will all do our best to not react in judgmental ways.
