Overall Educational Objective To learn to understand psychology as a scientific discipline; to become familiar with the background of major areas of psychology; to learn to understand basic terminology, and to use scientific knowledge to understand and predict human behavior.
Course Description The purpose of this course is to introduce you to major areas of psychology. The course is a review of theory and research about the basic topics in psychology: research methods, biological aspects of psychology, learning, memory, motivation, personality, and social psychology.
Course Description in Turkish Bu dersin amacı, insan davranış ve zihinsel süreçlerini inceleyen psikoloji bilimini tanıtmaktır. Bu kapsamda, psikolojinin farklı alt alanlarından (örneğin, araştırma yöntemleri, beyin, öğrenme, bellek, motivasyon, sosyal psikoloji) konular işlenerek, öğrenciler bu alt alanlardan teorik bilgiler alacaklardır.

8) Behaves according to scientific and ethical values at all stages of economic analysis: data collection, interpretation and dissemination of findings.

10) Exhibits individual and professional ethical behavior and social responsibility.
11) Displays learning skills necessary for further study with a high degree of autonomy
